Ranbir Kapoor to have four heroines for company in Kishore Kumar biopic

For quite some time, there were talks that UTV Motion Pictures and director Anurag Basu were hobnobbing with the idea of roping in Ranbir Kapoor to play a lead in his ambitious Kishore Kumar biopic. The latest on this is that Ranbir has been signed for the film. The hunt is now on for four heroines who would reprise the roles of the legendary singer’s wives namely Ruma Guha Thakurota, Madhubala, Yogita Bali and Leena Chandavarkar.

Bappi Lahiri dedicates his act in It's Rocking Dard-E-Disco to maternal uncle Kishore Kumar

Bappi Lahiri, who plays a full-fledged role of a Disco king in It's Rocking Dard-E-Disco has dedicated his role to his late maternal uncle and legendary singer-actor Kishore Kumar. Said the 59-year old singer, “Earlier, I have acted in films like Main Aurr Mrs Khanna, Om Shanti Om, Kalakaar but those were guest appearances. But, in this film I have acted in the real sense. Since I have acted taking my mamaji Kishore Kumar as my idol, I have dedicated my acting in this film to Kishore Kumarji.”

MP government to convert Kishore Kumar house in Khandwa into a museum

The Madhya Pradesh government has shown its willingness to convert once the home of singer Kishore Kumar the ‘Ganguly House’ in Khandwa district into a museum. “We wish to convert Kishore Kumar's ancestral place into a beautiful museum for the coming generations but we need the support and approval of his family members," state culture minister Lakshmikant Sharma has said in a statement.
