A source said, “It’s sad but true that Kishwar’s character Tamanna will soon come to an end. She is not only a very good actress but also a great person at heart; we all are going to miss her for sure. She actually lived the character of a drama teacher in the show.”

Kishwar Merchant is back with a different look in a fantasy show called<em> Arslaan </em> on Sony. Essaying a negative role for which Kishwar has learned to handle a sword. “Mukul and I have not learnt sword fighting. The fight master tells us the technique to handle the sword and we follow him,” says Kishwar. Talking about her character in the show she explains, “I portray the role of Mikawi who is Zaakfaar (Mukul Dev) partner in the show. She loves him passionately and will go to any extent to fulfill his needs and ambitions.”
