While Kumar Sanu has had a four-decade journey as a singer, it’s for the first time he would take on the judges’ seat in a national reality show. He has been a guest judge for a couple of shows but would make his debut as a full-time judge with Indian Idol 13.

The actor is back on the reality show after serving as its face for seasons 2 to 6 more than ten years ago. "It feels like my first day," he exclaimed with delight. Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani, and Kumar Sanu will serve as judges on the coming season of Indian Idol, which will premiere this weekend.
