Kamalika Guha Thakurta excited to be a part of an episodic in Adaalat

Good news for the fans of Bengali beauty Kamalika Guha Thakurta. This fabulous actress, who gained popularity with her impressive performance in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, has been roped in by the makers (Contiloe Telefims) of Adaalat (Sony Entertainment Television), for an upcoming episodic. Kamalika will be seen playing a wicked saas in the sequence which will have a saas-bahu rift plot. Her character will be called Saudamini. The role of the bahu will be played by some newbie. Kamalika has already shot for the episodic which will air this weekend.

Balaji announces talent hunt for Kyunki

These days in television it is not enough to take a 20 year leap. A new twist has been added to the tale by Balaji Telefilms and Star Plus for its fast forward track for <em>Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi</em>. The production house has launched a mega talent hunt for the Virani parivar's new generation. Ekta Kapoor has chosen the north zone for the search of fresh talent for the super hit show.

Amarr turns producer!

Amarr Upadhyay whose claim to fame was Mihir's character in <em>Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi</em>, is finally fulfilling his dream -- that of starting a production house of his own. He has named his production house Friday Films. "I always thought of producing my own shows and here I am," says Amarr. The production house will not be in partnership with anyone. "No this will not be a joint venture; instead it will be owned by my wife Hetal and myself," adds the actor. Friday Films will produce films, television shows, as well as ad films.

Aman joins Mandira on Sahara One's 'Dial One...'

Aman Verma will co-host <em>Dial One Aur Jeeto</em> on Sahara One from Thursday, 10 March. While Mandira was impressive, Aman is set to rock the floor. Aman and Mandira are scheduled to host two episodes each per week. This might deprive Aman and Mandira's fans of seeing their favourite hosts together. Wouldn't the audience have liked it more if Aman would be with <em>Dial One Aur Jeeto</em> since its launch? "I was busy with <em>Indian Idol</em>," says Aman as matter of fact. Aman is missing <em>Indian Idol</em> and hopes <em>Dial One Aur Jeeto</em> will fill the void.
