Life Of Pi actor Suraj Sharma doesn't want to draw any comparison between Hollywood and Bollywood

So in spite of some scathing pre-Oscar reviews criticizing it for turning a real political episode into a populist drama, actor-turned-director Ben Afflect’s <em>Argo</em> won the Oscar for Best Picture.

To the countless fans of Ben Affleck’s Argo, this morning turned out to be exotic when the film won the Oscar award for the Best Film at the 85th Academy Awards. The film sidelined eight other nominees like Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln, Life of Pi, Silver Linings Playbook, Zero Dark Thirty, Les Miserables, Amour, Beasts of the Southern Wild and Django Unchained.

Suraj Sharma, whose brilliant performance of Piscine Molitor Patel (Pi Patel) is one of the factors among several others to get his debut film <em>Life of Pi</em>, directed by Ang Lee all round appreciation has been nominated for the BAFTA Rising Star Award this year. Suraj joins the likes of British actresses Juno Temple, Andrea Riseborough, Elizabeth Olsen and Alicia Vikander who are also in the running for the award recognising new talent in the film industry.
