There is some bad news for all <em> Maayka</em> fans. The love story of Veer-Soni (Vineet Raina and Shilpa Shinde) is coming to an end with the exit of Vineet Raina from <em> Maayka</em>. In today’s episode the duo will meet with an accident and Veer will die. Our<em> khabroo</em> reveals, “It’s sad that Vineet is dying in the show. It’s the creative decision of the channel.” When asked about his exit Vineet stated, “I can’t reveal anything right now. There is a major twist in the tale and I don’t want to comment on who is going out or staying in.”

Zee TV’s <em> Maayka’</em> s has witnessed many an upheaval, including a major cast coup but yet have managed to maintain their popularity with the fans. However, a few fans are disappointed with the track involving Veer and Soni (played by Vineet Raina and Shilpa Shinde). The friction between one of the most loved on-screen couples has met with some heated response from few die-hard <em> Maayka</em> fans.

Zarina Wahab, the veteran actress who was last seen in <em> Virrudh</em> has bagged an important role in Zee’s <em> Maayka.</em> She has entered the show at the eleventh hour and will be essaying the role of the mother of the two protagonists. “I essay the role of Mahi and Soni’s mother in the show. It was shocking and confusing for the viewers but this twist was decided at the eleventh hour by the team,” says Zarina.

It was recently reported that Neha Bamb and Shilpa Shinde who are the protagonists of <em>Maayka</em> have become sworn rivals; from bickering about petty issues like not reaching the sets on time to not willing to hug each other for a required shot lately. We called up Neha for her version and the sizzling actress vehemently denied this saying there was nothing wrong between them.

Shoma Anand, aka Bina Mathur of <em> Hum Paanch</em> has replaced Aroona Irani as Durga Khurana in <em> Maayka</em>. Confirming the news, Shoma says, "I have agreed to this show because this character offers me something different. Often people have only associated me with comedy roles, thus I wanted to break this iamge."

Neha Bamb aka Mahi of <em> Maayka</em>, is going through a bad phase. Her fiancee Rishi has been hospitalized since the past two weeks. This has disturbed Neha’s life personally and professionally. “He recently went through spine surgery. He complained of back pain and after consulting five or six doctors we decided to go in for an operation. Currently he is fine and will be discharged soon. Life has become hectic but I’m trying to balance it,” says Neha.

After Star One's <em> Don</em> was unceremoniously pulled off air, Parmeet Sethi went missing from the scene for sometime. He resurfaced as an anchor in <em> Jhalak Dikhhla Ja</em> and now the handsome hunk is enjoying his stint as an<em> Bawarchi </em>in Zee's<em> Maayka. </em>

It's a second inning for Classik Productions post the entire fiasco of them being replaced by Creative Eye for their hit daily <em>Maayka</em> on Zee. Buzz was that rival channel Sahara One has approached Classik Productions to churn out a new show for them, based on the same theme. The 15 actors, who had been sacked by Zee for refusing to be a part of the new developments, have also been approached for this project. However, when we dug into developments, it said a totally different story. The ex-<em>Maayka</em> team rubbishes these rumours and gives their say.
