Jhanak is ready for the marriage and she gives a nod. The entire Basu Parivar talks about money and shopping as they have to spend a lot for Jhanak's wedding who is nothing to them but Arshi's sister.

Jhanak and Anirudh are on the edge of their seat. Anirudh wants to stop Jhanak from marrying anyone else as he loves her but he fails to gather courage. Jhanak sits in the mandap to get married where she gets to see the face of evil Tejas.

Shrishty and Tejas have been planning to fool Jhanak and Anirudh. Shrishty has chosen Tejas’s look alike for Jhanak so that he can be easily replaced by Tejas at Mandap and nobody will come to know.

Choton is busy with some task where he takes books to sell in one school where he is busy with this Principal mam Mrinalini. Choton keeps the false story of him being married and is father to six kids already.

Shrishti brings her brother Avinash to marry Jhanak where she does not care for Jhanak's choice and only want to send her out of Anirudh's life and Basu House. Jhanak also like a fool agrees to marry this Avinash without even knowing about him.
