Says Shraddha, "I had a great time working with superb co-stars (Sudeep Sahir, Aruna Irani and Anil Dhawan). I also learnt a lot about the craft of essaying two different characters (Lakshmi and Kaanchi).” Ask her if the show deserved to have a longer run and she says, “Yes… we could have gone on as we were quite popular, but then all these things are beyond our control.”

However, the end will be full of twists and turns.

The young, energetic and handsome actor Varun Khandelwal, who can be currently seen in two shows viz <em>Diya Aur Baati Hum</em> on Star Plus and <em>Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki</em> on Life OK, plays two diametrically opposite characters. While in <em>Diya Aur Baati Hum</em> he enacts a loving and caring brother, in the later he essays the role of a deceiving husband.
