Jaafar Jackson, the nephew of the late King of Pop, plays the lead in the Antoine Fuqua-directed biopic. The movie will be distributed internationally by Universal and released locally by Lionsgate. On January 22, the movie's filming will get underway.

The Michael Jackson estate is in the process of selling half of its interests in the King Of Pop's music catalog in a deal in the $800 million-$900 million range.

Lisa was the daughter of legendary singer and musician Elvis Presley. The latter died at his Graceland Mansion in 1977 when Lisa was just 9 years old.
