The Star Plus show that started in April this year, with huge publicity campaigns across the country has reached the watershed 100 episode mark! <em>Miilee</em>, the story of an orphan girl's trials and tribulations, seems to have found a number of takers…and the cast and the crew decided to hold a small party to celebrate the success of the show. The party held at Bohemia, in Juhu, in suburban Mumbai, started really late on Thursday night and as the stars walked in after a hearty dinner at the studio - the media waited and helped themselves to drinks that flowed in abundance!

The Big Bahu of television soap operas, Smriti Irani, who plays Tulsi of <em>Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi</em> and new comer Mona Wasu (plays the role of Miilee in Star Plus's <em>Milee</em>) will soon be seen on Star Plus in a series of advertisements endorsing the state of Kerala as a happening tourist destination.

Singer turned actor Mansi Scott has been shown the door in Star Plus' <em>Miilee</em>. Mansi's place will be taken by Neeru Bajwa, who is acting out the final few episodes of Star One's <em>Guns N Roses</em>. "Mansi is busy with her singing career and she has left for two and a half months' tour of America for her shows. I cannot change my track, but I can change my actor," says a visibly irritated Raman Kumar, <em>Miilee's</em> producer.

Enthusiasm for the <em>Star Parivaar awards</em> seems to be soaring with the summer heat as voting enters the third day. Miilee, the latest entrant in the Star Plus family has won herself a huge fan following due to her lovable and playful nature, which has got her hefty votes thus far. She has taken a huge lead over other newcomers Anjali of <em>Kavyanjali</em> and Kasak of <em>Kasautii Zindagi Kay</em> in the Naya Sadasya (new member) category.

Miilee will mark its entry in the first week of April. Set in the backdrop of Shimla, it is about a bubbly young girl called Miilee. She is a convent-educated orphan girl. The story focuses on <em>Miilee's</em> life after she finishes her schooling and takes up a job in a rich household.
