Who can forget the days when streets went empty when his show with the same name aired on Doordarshan. His superhero persona became a rage and the series became a super hit.

The makers of Zee TV’s popular show <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/darshan-pandya-enter-yahaan-main-ghar-ghar-kheli>Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli</a> are all set to launch another new show. Rajshri Productions is planning a family drama on Star Plus and have roped in <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/mahabharat-actors-pay-tribute>Mukesh Khanna</a> to play an important role. Mukesh will be making a comeback on television with this show.

Animation films on Indian myths and Gods have found a flavour with the viewers. Taking cue from them is our desi super hero <em> Shaktimaan </em> who will soon be seen in an animation film. Confirming this news, the super hero himself (Mukesh Khanna) says, “I’m soon to a sign an animation film on <em> Shaktimaan.</em> The success of Hanuman and Ganesha shows that the viewers like to see their Gods taking shape into cartoons. I see no reason why Shaktimaan wouldn’t be appreciated. It’s too early to divulge any details.”

Mukesh Khanna aka <em>Shaktimaan</em> is tired of the same old easy format games show. In which you can answer a few questions and earn big bucks. Where is the test of skill? hence he is thinking in terms of launching a real talent show for children between the ages of 4-14(different age bracket will be used), titled<em>Kaun Banega junior Shaktimaan,</em> which will truly evaluate both the physical and mental prowess of the participating kids.

He's invincible. Or so thought everyone in the country below the age of 12. Till Mukesh Khanna, better known as Shaktiman to legions of his wide eyed fans, met with an accident while shooting for an ad film on 27 April in suburban Mumbai. The accident occurred at 6 pm when Mukesh was performing a stunt and the crane he was in, was 150 feet up in the sky. The actor had to be shown flying and then landing on terra firma. He apparently lost balance mid way, crashed down and landed on his side.

Mukesh Khanna is not only acting in <em>Shaktiman</em> but is also going to be part of a film by Iqbal Durani. And this is not all, he is currently working on a book on health. So does that mean after acting and production now 'pitamaha' will get into writing? This is the man whose show has been running for the past seven years. Recently Shaktiman launched a contest, where the winners could be part of the show as par of prize. The winners looked overwhelmed with joy to be with their '<em>Shaktiman</em>' and shoot with him for a sequence in <em>Shaktiman</em>.
