Shakuntalam Telefilms which makes Colors’ popular show Na Aana Iss Des Laado is now making one for NDTV Imagine, tentatively titled, <em>Devi</em>. The show apparently is about a girl who is disowned by her parents only to be given the status of a goddess by the villagers. The show is expected to launch sometime in mid-January.

After <em> Rahe Tera Aashirwad</em> on Colors , Jay Mehta Production is coming up with a new show<em> Bali Umar Ko Salaam</em> on NDTV Imagine. It is a teenage love story and word has it that the story is fresh and unique. Talking about this new show, Jay Mehta said,<em> "Bali Umar Ko Salaam</em> is going to be launched in September. The shoot is likely to start from August 11. The cast will be finalised on August 8. The story is about teenage love."

Tellywood is going the Bollywod way. Just as you see a multi starrer on the big screen now television is also planning something similar. A multi- starrer show on NDTV Imagine is soon to redefine the way we view the small screen. SOL Entertainment and Imagine is coming up with a unique event based show called<em> Kuch Kuch Hota Hai</em>, which will present the big names of television. Rucha Gujrati, Manav Viji, Panchi Bora, Jay Bhanushali, Pulkit Samrat and Mouni Roy are the stars who will feature in the show. The story of the show revolves around young love.

Reality shows are viewed not just for the action on screen but for all the masala that is engineered and sometimes real off screen. Is it any wonder that such shows manage to gather some amount of TRPs?

Actor-producer Aroona Irani is set to produce a show for NDTV Imagine which is slated to go on air in June. Talking about her upcoming show, Aroona says, "We are still in the initial stages but I can tell you that it is going to be a very different show as NDTV Imagine believes in innovative ideas and concepts. It's a daily which will commence from June. We haven't finalised the actors yet. In fact, we haven't even decided on the show's title."

NDTV Imagine presents <em> Indiadhanush</em> a new series that showcases fascinating and some unknown facets of India's diverse artistic culture, lifestyle and heritage! Produced by Siddharth Kak's Cinema Vision India and this new series is hosted by Siddharth Kak himself with Ami Trivedi.

After Say <em> Shaava Shaava</em> on NDTV Imagine, Narayani Shastri is on a sabbatical. She is at home pursuing her hobby and waiting for some meaty role to come her way. But more than that she is learning some salsa. “I’m not exactly on a break but just waiting for a nice role to come my way. Till then I’m at peace at home,” says Narayani.

Simi Garewal is all set to judge a musical entertainer <em> ??€?“Say Shaava Shaava??€Â?</em> starting January 2008 on NDTV Imagine. Joining her as a co-judge is director and TV host, Karan Johar. Together they will judge the singing capabilities of soap stars Aman Verma, Apurva Agnihotri, Divyanka Tripathi, Juhi Parmar, Mannish Goel, Mouni Roy, Narayani Shastri, Pulkit Samrat and Sumeet Raghvan.
