<strong>A page from the personal diary of Neha Sargam</strong> Hello everyone, this is Neha Sargam whom you see as Sita in Zee TV’s Ramayan. Firstly, let me wish everyone of you a Happy New Year and compliments of the season. Let me start by briefing you a bit about myself. I am born and raised in Patna, where I completed my schooling. Later, I pursued advertisement and sales promotion and marketing from Patna University. Currently, I stay in Mumbai with mom and younger sister, while dad is handling his business in Patna.

Neha Sargam, who is currently seen essaying the role of Sita in Zee TV’s Ramayan, is busy shooting in Vadodara for this Sagar Pictures’ epic drama. And though this pretty lady is very fond of her cast and crew, she cannot help but miss her family all the time.

Sometimes, the thin line between reel and real life gets smudged. This is exactly what happened on the sets of Sagar Pictures’ <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/bharat-and-ram-compete-crown-ramayan>Ramayan</a></em> (Zee TV).

When someone shouts on the sets of Zee TV’s <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/amit-pachori-enter-ramayan>Ramayan</a>, “Calender…khana lao”, then all that is served is vegetarian food. Foxed? Well…sit back and read…this is what we call a piece of gastronomical news. Out sources have informed that everyone on the sets of <em>Ramayan</em>, the cast and crew, have shunned non-vegetarian food and become vegans. All for the love of God and to get the feel of the show and characters.

Rucha Gujarathi, who was last seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s Saas Bina Sasural, will be seen entering Zee TV’s Ramayan (produced by Sagar Pictures). The actress will be seen as Ahilya. She will be Gautam Rishimuni’s (saint) wife. As per a reliable source, Ahilya will be cursed for allowing a stranger to enter the house, who apparently would have looks similar to that of her husband, Gautam. The man will be in the house and Gautam will enter. Out of anger, he will spell a curse which will turn Ahiliya into a statue.

Neha Sargam debuted on television with Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol as a contestant after which she stepped into fiction world with Rajan Shahi’s (Director’s Kut Productions) <em>Chand Chupa Badal Mein</em>, followed by many other shows like <em>Haar Jeet, Punar Vivah</em> et al. Certainly, Rajan Shahi is the one who paved way for Neha into the small screen space.

We have also reported that names like Neha Sargam, Supriya Shukla, Shruti Ulfat, veteran Vidya Sinha are a part of the series. And the latest we have learned is that TV heartthrob Karan Wahi has been approached by the makers to play the role of the male protagonist. If all goes well, he will essay the character of Ranjan Pandit. Karan has already shot the pilot episode.

Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt Ltd is one of the pioneers in the field of event management. They have also produced shows like <em>Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega</em> on Sony Entertainment Television. Now, they are making a foray into the world of fiction. They are producing a daily soap for Sony which will be based in North India and will be a family drama with a romantic angle. It has been reported that veteran actor Vidya Sinha has been roped in to be a part of the project. She will be the grandmother in the family.
