Usually, setting up an acting school or organising workshops are activities actors do when they are past their prime. But actress Pallavi Kulkarni who carved a niche for herself through shows like <em>Kehta Hai Dil and Vaidehi - Ek Aur Agnipariksha</em> is organising acting workshops for wannabe telestars.

The middle class girl Vaidehi who stole hearts with her innocence and who was trapped into marrying a wealthy but impotent Aryan Jaisingh, will soon bid adieu by the end of this month. This Sony show, which was launched with huge fanfare under Aroona Irani's AK Films, seemed quite promising but was unable to hook the audience for long. It is learnt that shifting the serial from its original primetime slot of once a week on Tuesdays to a daily soap aired in the 11pm slot witnessed a fall in the TRP ratings.

The stage is set for Star Plus' <em>Kehta Hai Dil</em> saas, Lalita, to breathe her last. Like all things, good or bad, come to an end, so is this character. Come Episode 141, a trishul will pierce through her aar paar. The shooting for this particular hi-drama takes place tomorrow at Film City.
