Sonia Singh, aka Richa of Colors’ Parichay, has been playing negative characters from the time she started her television career. However the lady has no qualms of playing a vamp too. Ask her as to how did it all start, to which she quickly answers, “When I went for my first audition, they offered me a negative role. I think their offer came to me since I have curly hair that made me look like a vamp (laughs). From there, I kept on getting negative roles that I could never decline.”

That person is no one else other than producer <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sakshi-tanwar-ekta-kapoors-favourite>Ekta Kapoor</a>.

Colors’ Parichay is gearing up for the dance competition wherein both the kids of Kunal (Samir Soni) and Siddhi (Keerti Nagpure) are due to participate. However, there will be a vast difference in the way the kids prepare for the competition. While Kunal’s Anand (Anmol Jyotir) is gung-ho about participating in the competition, Abhay Diwan (Mahesh Shetty) has to try hard to convince his Anand to participate.

Post the leap, Siddhi (<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/keerti-nagpure-paints-parichay-co-star-sameer-soni>Keerti Nagpure</a>) and Kunal (<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/samir-soni-and-keerti-nagpures-phone-game>Samir Soni</a>) have been shown living separately in Colors’ <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/kanoon-and-sharab-time-kunal-colors-parichay>Parichay</a>. However, both of them are trying to live up to their children’s expectations. But while doing so they have been facing a lot of difficulties.

When lost in love, one can resort to many anomalies. Identical will be the situation for Kunal (Samir Soni) in Colors’ Parichay. Kunal has been all shattered after Siddhi’s (Keerti Nagpure) exit from his life and his only hope is his son Anand Chopra (Anmol Jyotir). However, he will act adversely and fail to be a good father. In the upcoming episodes, Kunal– a lawyer by profession – will be seen taking up a case just to live up to his son’s expectation.

However, there are a few who made the best of the day that celebrates India’s freedom. One such person is actress Prerna Wanvari aka Raveena of Colors’ <em>Parichay</em>. The actress performed with some underprivileged children under the auspices of NGO Light of Life for the brand Spaces. The actress, with a beautiful body, was seen dancing to the tunes of <em>Tumhi Ho Bandhu</em> from <em>Cocktail</em> at Infinity Mall, Malad.

A press conference was organised by Colors yesterday (9 August), where the media could interact with the entire cast of the serial (post leap) <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/releases/9-year-leap-spice-parichay>Parichay</a> produced by Balaji Telefilms. Here, we happened to meet the youngest members of the show, twin brothers Anmol and Apurva Jyotir.

Apurva Jyotir and Anmol Jyotir, the twins of Siddhi (Keerti Nagpure) and Kunal (Samir Soni) in Colors’ <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/releases/9-year-leap-spice-parichay>Parichay</a> have become famous names today. Incidentally, in the show they both have the same name, Anand. However, it seems that acting was always in their genes as their father; Prashant Jyotir is also a performer.

Colors’ Parichay has finally taken a nine year leap as a result of which a lot of new characters have entered the show. However the latest is that Tapeshwari Sharma has replaced Megha Israni, who was to play one of the daughters of Seema (Aarti Singh). So henceforth, Tapeshwari will be seen playing the role of Anokhi. She will love attention from males. She will also be very outgoing in nature. On the other hand to play the character of her sister Ishani, makers (Balaji Telefilms) have roped in a new girl from Patna, Richa Srivastava. Richa's character will be that of an introvert.
