I spent my childhood in Lakhimur Kheri – the largest district in Uttar Pradesh and had a very simple living. My father was a government employee in Uttar Pradesh and we come from a very middle class family. I stayed there till I completed my plus two, after which I wanted to move to a big town to study engineering.

Producer Rajan Shahi’s five year old daughter Ishika will soon be seen in her home production <em> Bidaai</em>. The little girl will be shaking a leg with the lead actresses Parul Chauhan and Sara Khan on <em> Bidaai</em>. Producer Rajan says, “<em> Bidaai</em> is like my extended family and we are shooting the marriage of Sara who plays Sadhna on the show. My daughter always wanted to meet Parul and Sara as she is very fond of them and watches the show regularly. I couldn’t find any better occasion than this.”
