Poonam Dhillon, the talented actress has been busy with her plays post her stint on television with Bigg Boss (Colors). The lady who has a penchant for acting in plays debuted on stage with <em>The Perfect Husband</em>. And now she is busy preparing for her play in Hindi, <em>U-Turn Ek Ajeeb Prem Kahaani</em> which opens on 26 August 2012 at 7.30 pm at Manik Sabhagrih, Bandra Reclamation.
The play stars Poonam Dhillon and Aasif Sheikh. <em>U Turn</em> is originally a hit play in Marathi and has been bestowed with many awards. It has now been adapted in Hindi.

Tellychakkar.com was the first to break the news of choreographer cum actor Pinky Chinoy coming up with a show on Doordarshan, Betiyaan Vardan Hoti Hain under the banner Pinky Media Pvt Ltd. Poonam Dhillon will soon be seen in a Punjabi serial. She is playing the role of Kanwaljit Singh’s love interest in the show. It is going to be telecast on a new Punjabi channel to be launched in July.

Actor Sooraj Thapar was in for a pleasant surprise on Sunday when his good friend and Chairman of Parent Teacher Association, Anil Murarka threw a surprise party for him at Masala Mantar in Andheri.
Close friends and relatives poured in to share in the celebration. Among the guests were Poonam Dhillon, Prabha Sinha, Rajeev and Delnaaz Paul, Rakesh Paul and Sunaina, Rekha Sahay, Sudhir Pandey and Jiten Lalvani. However, it wasn’t the birthday boy who stole the show, but it was Raju Shrivastav, who with his stand up comedy kept the guests rolling with laughter.

Veteran actress Padmini Kolhapure has been zeroed on to play the life line of<em> Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi</em>. Smriti's tenure in Balaji ends this May. Her leaving the parent production house and <em>Kyunki</em> was drama laden. However Padmini's entry has been kept under wraps, in fact Nevedita Basu, Creative Head Balaji- blatantly hides the fact stating that, "No, I haven't finalized anyone as yet!" when the press is abuzz with news of her entry.
