What the Shah Rukh Khan film Chak De did to the game of hockey, similarly Govinda promises to do the same to football in his new film Avatar produced and directed by Pahlaj Nihalani. In fact, Nihalani intends to sell the film as football’s answer to <em>Chak De</em>.
Govinda too has made it clear that he will promote football with a vengeance in the film. “We neglect all games and sports except cricket. Hopefully my film will break that monopoly and motivate youngsters to try games other than cricket,” says the actor.
