Dolby Laboratories, Inc. has announced that the upcoming Tips Industries’ action thriller Race 2 will release with its surround sound technology Dolby Atmos in select theatres on 25 January (2013). Dolby Atmos will deliver a more natural and realistic sound field to the film moving sound around and above cinema audiences, transporting them into the on-screen adventure.

We gather from a source from her latest film <em>Race 2</em> that her voice had to be dubbed by a professional dubbing artiste. Says the source, “Since all the other members of the cast spoke their own lines, directors Abbas-Mastan, were keen that Jacqueline do the same .Every effort was made to make her speak her lines. But finally it didn’t work.” Apparently Jacqueline has a lot of seductive come-hither lines to throw at Saif Ali Khan.

Kicking off the promotion of her upcoming film Race 2, Deepika Padukone is currently in Dubai along with her co-stars to promote the action packed thriller. Attending a full day event in Dubai tomorrow will be lead stars of the film Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel. The actors will be attending the press conference with the crew of the film followed by a meet and greet with the stars at Arabian Centre.

We all know that much before the film hit the floors, Tips Industries’ Race 2 was flooded with association and in-film offers from over 15 brands thanks to the ensemble star cast that includes names like John Abraham, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandes. While huge names like Audi, Van Huesen and Tanishq got attached to the film as brand associations, the film’s marketing and promotions is also reaching a flashpoint with the star cast going all out to promote the film as it is being readied for release.

Currently the actress is working in four films simultaneously, besides the one being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, which has Ranveer Singh in the lead. Known to be a perfectionist, Bhansali has set up a workshop to train the lead pair on various techniques that reportedly takes up 15 to 18 hours a day. Grapevine has it that Deepika and Ranveer started dating while spending considerable time for their workshops.

After having dabbling a lot in the romantic genre, Deepika Padukone is all set to venture in an out-in-out action in Tips Industries’ Abbas-Mustan helmed thriller <em>Race 2</em>. To make her character more convincing, the actress has decided to shoot the hi-octane stunts that include a thrilling car chase sequence without a double.
