Ram Awana

Mugdha was last seen in Imagine TV’s <em>Baba Aiso Var Dhoondo</em> and Ram entertained fans last in <em>Dwarkadheesh</em> (also Imagine channel).

It’s time for <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/ram-awana-play-king-chhatrasal-moti-sagars-shri-prannathji>Ram Awana</a> to tickle the funny bone. Ram, who was last seen in Imagine’s <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/ram-awana-enter-dwarkadheesh>Dwarkadheesh</a>, will be seen in Fireworks Productions’ silent comedy <em>Gutur Gu</em> on SAB TV. His character’s name will be Chuttapan and he will be a notorious dacoit. His role will be loosely based on the life of Veerappan.

Moti Sagar of Sagar Pictures is one man who has been putting in efforts to keep our mythological roots alive. Hailing from the house of epic shows, like <em>Ramayan</em>, Moti took the legacy of his father Ramanand Sagar and created some mindboggling serials like, <em>Prithiviraj Chauhan, Sai Baba, Jai Shri Krishna, Meera, Shakuntala</em> and <em>Mahavir Hanuman</em>. Currently he is producing <em>Shri Prannathji</em> on Imagine which airs every Sunday at 8pm.

Imagine’s show <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/hemant-chaddha-joins-vishal-dwarkadheesh>Dwarkadheesh: Bhagwan Shree Krishna</a> is soon up for a new interesting twist. The show, which is based on Lord Krishna’s life after Mahabharata, will see a new entry. Ram Awana is all set to play the role of Raja Paundrik. He was last seen in Star Plus’ <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/yash-pandit-replaces-saurabh-tere-mere-sapne>Tere Mere Sapne</a></em>. Raja Paundrik’s character is that of a king who hates Krishna. However, he dresses up like Krishna.
