According to the latest updates, Laapataa Ladies is now India’s official entry Oscars in the Best Foreign Film Category 2025. While Kiran Rao expressed her happiness in an emotional note, Aamir Khan too expressed how proud he is of the team.

The film garnered tremendous love from both audiences and critics during its theatrical and OTT release and today, there was a screening of Laapataa Ladies at the Supreme Court of India in the presence of producers Aamir Khan and director Kiran Rao.
