Sonam Kapoor, will soon start shooting for her father’s (Anil Kapoor) remake of the Rekha-starrer <em>Khoobsurat</em> that was released in the 80s. The film is to be directed by Shashanka Ghosh who had earlier made films like <em>Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II, Quick Gun Murugan</em> and <em>Nyay Anyay</em>.

Fans of eternal diva Rekha will have a special treat in store for them as the stunningly talented actress will be soon seen on the silver screen. Recently a divine pooja was held on the auspicious and once in a lifetime date of 12.12.12, at 12 noon for Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Maruti International next film <em>Super Nani</em>, said to be a family entertainer. Dressed in an elegant off white sari, the charismatic actress offered her prayers to the almighty along with Randhir Kapoor, Sharman Joshi and Shweta Kumar.

Looks like filmmakers are lining themselves to acquire the rights of more such Gujarati plays after the success of Oh My God (OMG) that was adapted from the long-running Gujarati play <em>Kanji Virrudh Kanji</em>. The latest to join the fray is Indra Kumar who has bought the rights of another popular Gujarati play <em>Baa Ae Mari Boundary</em>. Ant to top it all, the director has approached screen diva Rekha, who earned immense adulation in Rakesh Roshan’s 1988-made film <em>Khoon Bhari Maang</em> opposite Kabir Bedi¸ to star in his upcoming yet untitled film.
