Earlier, Sanjay was seen using his cunning plan against Manish and Abhira. After finding that Sanjay had always intended to hurt Abhira, he is shown flashing a wicked smirk. When Madhav notices the same thing, he grabs Sanjay by the collar.

It seems that the Goenka and Poddar families are going through a difficult time, and Manish feels incredibly helpless for ruining Ruhi and Abhira's happiness. He believes Abhira would never be happy in life. Kaveri gives Manish comfort and strengthens him by putting a tikka on his head.
