Chetanya Adib aka Kunjan Pratap Singh of popular soap Saat Phere on Zee TV is wearing the cloak of an actor for the past 11 years. The first serial he did was Yuddh which
was just the beginning and later there were series of serials done by him. Although Chetanya had neither done any acting course nor had he taken any god father in this industry, still he managed to stay on his own mettle. He had acting flowing in his veins because his maternal grand father Prem Ji Adib was one of the known leading artiste of fifties.

With quite commendable and quality films and TV shows to his credit, Akshay Anande doesn't seem to pom pom about his credentials. Rather he prefers being reticent and let his body of work do the speaking.
On the TV front he is been making waves as Brijesh bhai sahib in Zee's big ticket show, Saat Phere and of late he has been has made a part of Star One's Viraasat as Rohan Lamba.
Prashant Golecha meets up with Akshay, (originally christened John Gardener) where he turns back to the pages of his career book and also gives us a peek of the real person behind the characters he's essayed.

The Gwalior guy - Sharad Kelkar, was a Grasim Mr India finalist; an MBA in marketing and is now recognised as the undisputed hunk of two Zee TV serials - Sindoor and Saat Phere. His journey into showbiz began with advertising. A small cameo in the offbeat National Award-winning Marathi film, Uttarayan, whetted his appetite and he started doing the rounds of production houses.
