Preeta says that this time, Rishabh will be proven innocent and no one can stop him from getting released.  

Preeta is horrified seeing the sindoor in her maang. She cries bitterly and wipes off the sindoor, recalling Karan. Rishabh somehow consoles her and promises to not let Karan succeed. 

He then pleads with Anjali to withdraw the case for Rakhi's sake. Anjali then asks him if he really thinks that Preeta and Rishabh are correct. He responds saying that he is just worried for Rakhi, that's all.  

Although Anjali tries her best to lie and manipulate Karan, her tricks don’t work on him.

Karan also decides to find out the truth by himself and finally realises that Rishabh is innocent.  

Anjali plays a dirty game and traps Rishabh into a molestation case. She plans to take revenge on Rishabh and Preeta. Meamwhile, Karan comes home, having injuries on his head.

Rishabh gets jailed when Anjali puts false allegations on him. Preeta challenges Anjali to bail him out, but the latter swears to not step back. 

We will see how Rishabh is sure that his life is safe as long as Preeta is with him and supporting him. Rakhi lets the Luthras know that Arjun will speak to Anjali to clear all the misunderstanding but Preeta is worried that Arjun cannot be trusted at any cost. 

When Anjali sees Preeta’s uneasiness, she feels happy because she had behaved the same way when Arjun was in pain.  

Preeta is not ready to let Anjali succeed by letting Rishabh get punished for the crimes he didn’t commit. Thus, she reaches police station with strong evidence.
