Sanjeevani

The show that started off as a sequel to Sanjeevani that aired on Star Plus, is now tipped to wrap up by this month-end. Going by the buzz, the channel has decided to pull the show off due to poor ratings.

<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/maninee-and-mihir-s-ghar-ki-kahani>Mihir Mishra</a> who was once seen as a doctor in Cinevistaas’ Sanjeevani is back with the production house for <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/radhika-fall-love-veer>Jaane Pehchaane se Yeh Ajnabee</a></em>. Mihir will be playing doc again who will enter the show to treat Nihaal. Nihaal in the recent episodes has fallen off the stairs and in the process injured him.

Director Gul Khan who has been associated with some hit shows like <em> Shaheen, Rishtey</em> and <em> Sanjeevani </em> is turning producer with her debut show which will have Rahil Azam and Chahat Khanna as leads. The show will be aired on NDTV Imagine and the production house is named Pentad Films.

This weekend Shekhar Suman with his mentor Sanjeevani bids farewell to the stage of <em> Jhoom India</em>. The actor turned singer Shekhar lost by a slender margin. The duo took their elimination very sportingly. The final three who will now compete are Roshni, Sachin and Varun. “We expected our elimination but from my point of view I think Shekhar should have won. All I can say is that Shekhar has been very positive about his elimination,” says Sanjeevani.

Arjun Punj, who created waves in <em> Sanjeevani</em> as Dr Aman, has suddenly vanished from television. His last stint was in <em> Saathi Re,</em> where he survived for three months. We called up this lad to know why he has been keeping a low profile these days. “I had been keeping low profile as I don’t want to be loud before finalizing matters. After entering films, I don’t think I’ll be seen in television anymore,” says Arjun.

We caught up with Gurdeep Kohli after a long time. The last we heard about her was that she had walked out of Star One's upcoming show<em> Dil Mil Gaya</em>. Well, after a lot of coaxing the pretty actress, last seen in <em> Sindoor Tere Naam Ka,</em> revealed to us that she has signed on a new show. Now, this will be her first show after a whooping five month marriage break.
