On 29th September, 2023, at almost noon, Shah Rukh Khan led Jawan, directed by Atlee Kumar and co-starring Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and others, emerged as the highest grossing Indian film of all time for the Hindi version, crossing the lifetime collections of Gadar 2, Pathaan and Baahubali 2.

The film has a vast female cast that includes Ridhi Dogra, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lekha Khan, Deepika Padukone, and many others. It recently crossed Rs 1000 crores worldwide.

Actor Ridhi Dogra, who is currently enjoying the success of her role in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, revealed that while on set, she wished she could play the lead role portrayed by Nayanthara. In the film, Nayanthara played the role of a special agent Narmada Rai and SRK’s love interest.

Priyamani was recently seen in Shah Rukh Khan starrer action thriller film Jawan which has turned out to be a massive box-office success. It marked her second collaboration with King Khan with whom she had appeared in Rohit Shetty's 2013 film Chennai Express in a song.
