Guys…here's an article on <a href="http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/mahabharat-actors-pay-tribute">Mukesh Khanna</a>. Let's all bow down with respect. Yes, he is the original and desi superhero of this country. He is "the" <a href="http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/shaktimaan-get-animated"><em>Shaktimaan</em></a>. Who can forget the days when streets went empty when his show with the same name aired on Doordarshan. His superhero persona became a rage and the series became a super hit.

Animation films on Indian myths and Gods have found a flavour with the viewers. Taking cue from them is our desi super hero <em> Shaktimaan </em> who will soon be seen in an animation film. Confirming this news, the super hero himself (Mukesh Khanna) says, “I’m soon to a sign an animation film on <em> Shaktimaan.</em> The success of Hanuman and Ganesha shows that the viewers like to see their Gods taking shape into cartoons. I see no reason why Shaktimaan wouldn’t be appreciated. It’s too early to divulge any details.”

Mukesh Khanna aka <em>Shaktimaan</em> is tired of the same old easy format games show. In which you can answer a few questions and earn big bucks. Where is the test of skill? hence he is thinking in terms of launching a real talent show for children between the ages of 4-14(different age bracket will be used), titled<em>Kaun Banega junior Shaktimaan,</em> which will truly evaluate both the physical and mental prowess of the participating kids.

That deep baritone you knew well as Shaktimaan's voice will soon be heard as the voice of another super-human, err, super-simian being. Mukesh Khanna has lent his vocal chords for Sahara One Motion Pictures' first animation venture <em>Hanuman</em>, that will be released on 21 October. The film is directed by animation guru V G Samant. "There were no second thoughts on this offer. I am a great devotee of Lord Hanuman and I am very honoured to get this opportunity," says a humble Mukesh.
