A page from the personal diary of Sai Ballal
Though the roles I play would say otherwise, in reality I am very shy as an individual. I like to keep to myself and hence it is not very easy for a person like me to get into a relationship. In fact, had it not been for my wife, actress Shama Deshpande; we would not have known each other at all.

The success of saas-bahu shows like Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii has inspired a lot many people to make shows on the same concept. The latest to join the bandwagon is Doordarshan’s national network. The channel is going to air a new show named “Kabhi Saas Kabhi Bahu.” The title may suggest that the show is a heavy mix of tragedy, pathos, self-sacrifice and trauma but the show is actually a situational comedy. The show will have stalwarts like Sushmita Mukherjee and Shama Deshpande.
