Shilpa Anand is a popular TV actress but her sister Sakshi is a very popular face down South. Sakshi has acted in over 40 Kannada films and is a name to reckon with today. Shilpa though has said that at the moment she is not looking at making an entry in any South film.

Shilpa Anand was born in South Africa and went to school there. After completing her education, she moved to India along with her family and then she started her acting career in Mumbai. She rose to stardom when she starred in the television series Dill Mill Gayye in which she played Dr.Riddhima Gupta.
