On 30 October, tellychakkar had broken the news of a new show Shree making its way on Zee TV. Produced by JD.Majethia’s Hats Off Productions, <em> Shree </em> was to launch in the second week of November. However, the Hindi GECs blacked out all fresh programming from 10 November, thereby derailing <em>Shree</em>. However, things are finally in place for Shree and this supernatural thriller will finally launch on 22 December and will air every Monday to Thursday at 10.30 pm on Zee TV. (<em>Shree </em> was earlier tipped to air at 7.30 pm.)

Back in May 2008, JD.Majethia had to pull the curtain down on his five-month old show <em> Chaldi Da Naam Gaddi </em> after it failed to generate the desired TRPs for the channel (Zee TV). That was disappointing but JD had promised another show for Zee TV. Living up to his promise, JD’s new show <em> Shree </em> is set to roll on Zee TV soon and it will replace Miditech’s <em> Parrivaar </em>. Confirming the news, Aatish Kapadia of Hats Off productions says, “Yes, we are producing <em> Shree </em> for Zee TV. There’s nothing more that I can tell you now.”
