A new interesting character is soon to be introduced in <em> Simply Sapney</em> on Zee Next. Gaurav Kaushikkh who played the lead role in <em> Mohalla Mohabbat Wala </em> on Sab TV will now be seen in this show. A source informed, “He is coming as Pammi’s (Ekta Saria) childhood buddy. Gradually, their friendship will blossom into love. He is playing a humorous role of Happy Singh who is a celebrity chef from London. He will start shooting from August 10 and the episode will be on air from August 14.

Rahul Vaidya's presence on TV is not just limited to reality shows and music videos. The singer has now made his entry in a TV soap. He will soon be seen in a cameo in <em>Simply Sapney</em> on Zee Next. Making his acting debut Rahul plays a celebrity chief guest who will open a restaurant. Talking about his cameo, he said, "I was very nervous though I have been in front of the camera several times. This is the first time that I have acted in my entire life. The actors and the production house were really sweet to me. I also sang a song <em> Tera Intezaar</em> from my music video."

Despite tall promises, a number of our new Hindi GECs have found the going tough. Unable to get the desired result, Zee Next has opted for a revamp. Zee Next was launched on Dec 17. Confirming this news Zee TV’s Marketing Head Tarun Mehra says, “Yes, it’s true that we will be revamping Next.” Tarun refused to comment on the programs facing the axe.

His good looks won him a host of ad films, music videos and television shows. And now Gautam Rode's luck has favoured him as he gets to play the lead in Prakesh Mehra’s Production <em> Simply Sapney</em> on Zee Next. Along with this he also returns to <em> Baa, Bahu Aur Baby</em>. “I loved the story of <em> Simply Sapney</em> when it was narrated to me. After Lucky I was waiting for the right role and this came my way. I’m very happy,” says Gautam.
