Indian TV's biggest stars to come together for Ekta Kapoor's Life OK show

Ekta Kapoor and Balaji Telefilms will soon bring a magnun-opus mini series on Life OK, where all the big 'Maha Naikas' of Ekta's shows (past and present) will feature. The show tentatively titled '<em>Daayan</em>' will be episodic stories where one <Em>Mahanaika</em> in every episode will wage war with the demons.

Smriti Mohan to re-enter Creative Eye’s Niyati

Early this week, Tellychakkar.com had reported about Smriti Mohan being in a happy frame of mind post her marriage to actor Tarun Khanna. And this happy time seems to be getting better as Smriti will be seen re-entering Creative Eye’s Niyati as Vaishali. As seen in the earlier episodes of the serial, Vaishali had to leave her house in Niyati after her husband learnt about her ill doings and nobody was sure about her comeback. However, now she will be welcomed home where she will once again start planning and plotting against Niyati (Jayshree Soni).

Yuvraj Malhotra to shine in Shubh Vivah as Bansi

Yuvraj Malhotra better known as Karan of <em> Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann</em> is making a full-fledged return to TV through <a href="http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/shubh-vivah-another-south-remake-tv"><em>Shubh Vivah</em></a> on Sony Entertainment Television which premieres on 27 February at 7pm. “I play a very sweet guy called Bansi who is a silent lover of Saroj (<a href="http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/aashka-goradia-and-neha-janpandit-nachle-ve">Neha Janpandit</a>).” His entry will happen from the first day of the show.

SAB claims to show six comedies daily and that's not funny

SAB TV has found more reasons to smile. The channel which claims to be the only one in the world to screen six comedy shows daily, grew by 300 per cent since it was taken over by Sony. According to SAB Business Head Anooj Kapoor, the channel achieved a 28 per cent growth in TRP and now has a sustained readership.

Smriti Irani is the current talk of the town. After creating news with her return to <em> Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi </em> as Tulsi, she is once again in the news. This time it is 9X that puts the actress in the spot. The current news doing the rounds is that 9X is at crossroads with the actress cum politician, Smriti Irani. As Smriti’s show Mere Apne as well as <em> Yeh Hai Jalwa</em> (as host) is on 9X currently it is alleged that the channel is playing the aggrieved party as Smriti appears to have shifted loyalties to a rival channel, Star Plus.

Smriti Irani & Sakshi Tanwar to host Yeh Hai Jalwa

Channel 9X and the producers are leaving no stone unturned to make their dance based reality show <em> Yeh Hai Jalwa </em>a huge success. Besides roping in nine biggies as participants, the show will have stalwarts of the television industry as hosts. It is now confirmed that the show will be hosted by none other than the two bahus of K-serials. Smriti Irani and Sakshi Tanwar.

Smriti Irani to produce a family drama for Zee

Smriti Irani is all set to produce a family drama for Zee Telefilms Ltd. The actor-producer has produced <em> Thodi Si Zameen Thoda sa Aasmaan</em> on Star Plus (status: Off-air), <em>Virrudh</em> on Sony (status: to go off-air) and <em> Mere Apne</em> on 9X. Smriti is also producing a comedy show <em> Bai Bole Toh Gangu Bai</em> for Zee Tv. This will be her second stint with Zee. The serial will be a family drama and the director and title of the show is yet to be announced. The production house and the channel at present are busy with the casting of the actors for the show.

Babul Ka Aangan… replaces Viruddh

As Smriti Irani’s <em> Viruddh</em> (Sony) is soon coming to an end, a new show titled <em> Babul Ka Aangan Chootey Na </em> will be replacing it. The show which is being produced by ‘The Chota Ganpati Creation’ will focus on the dilemma of a girl. Scheduled for the10 pm slot the show has Aastha Choudhary in the lead with Sana Sayed of <em> Kuch Kuch Hota Hai</em> fame who plays her sister.

Jas boycotts daily soaps!

Jas Arora, the handsome actor who was last seen doing a cameo in Smriti Irani's <em> Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasmaan</em> is currently busy shooting for<em> Aachar- Season</em> IV for Singapore national television. He has no plans of doing any more daily soaps for Indian television.

Smriti to produce a comedy show?

The buzz has it that Smriti Irani??€â„?s production house Ugraya will soon be launching a comedy show to be aired on Zee. If reports are to be believed then the venue of the shoot will be Sankraman Studio in Goregaon (E). The production house and the channel are in the process of finalizing the cast and naming the serial. When contacted Smriti said, ??€?“I speak about my upcoming shows only when the time is right. All that I can say now is that I am producing five shows out of which one is for Zee and some for Sahara.??€Â?
