Last week (week 33 of TAM), it was surprising to see Zee TV topping the TRP charts with 283 GRP. However, this week, it is in the number three position with 237 GRP. While Star Plus, that had lost its number one position last week, is back to the number one position with a 264 GRP, Colors has climbed the ladder with a 258 GRP that puts it in the number two position.

Ekta Kapoor, the queen of daily soaps is tied up with work 24x7. However, in spite of being terribly busy, she never ignores her favourite actress Sakshi Tanwar aka Priya of Sony's <em>Bade Acche Lagte Hai</em>. Of late, the Balaji head honcho has been concentrating more on films than on television, but for Sakshi she is ready to give all the time in the world as she tells us, "Sakshi is one person whose calls I answer even at two in the night as I know she’d be calling me for a narration of a particular scene."

TAM Ratings for Week 32 (5 to 11 August 2012) Friends, we are back again to see how our favorite shows on television fared in the week gone by….Star Plus stands tall taking the #1 position with 270 GRP while Zee TV takes the second position with 247 GRP. Sony Entertainment Television is at number 3 position with 225 GRP while Colors is at fourth with 217 GRP. Life OK (129) edges past SAB TV (128) for the first time and takes the fifth position while SAB TV takes the sixth.

Folks…the race amongst channels and shows to stay on the top in the TRP chart continues this week. However, there will always be a doubtful eye on the results given the recent development of NDTV suing TAM, Nielsen for manipulation of data. Anyways, let’s get down to the figures. Star Plus maintains to stay at the #1 spot with 234 GRPs. Sony Entertainment Television which was perched at the #2 position since the last two weeks, slumped to the third place this week (206). Zee TV is currently placed at number #2 (211). Colors holds the number four position on the TRP ladder (203).

We are back with the TRP story…folks. This week the number game has seen some noteworthy changes. Surprising and impressing everyone, Star Plus’ <em>Diya Aur Baati Hum</em> has earned a whooping 5.9 TVRs. It has shot up from its last week’s rating of 5.3. On the other hand, Sony Entertainment Television’s <em>Bade Achhe Lagte Hain</em> has also seen a spike in numbers. It touched a figure of 3.7, compared to 2.6 last week. Colors’ <em>Balika Vadhu</em> stood tall with 4.3 TRPs.

Today is Wednesday and the day when everyone in the TV industry eagerly awaits for TRP ratings. Here we are back again with the figures. In the race of channels, as usual, Star Plus continues holding the number one position with 265 points. Viewers, we are back with yet another set of TAM ratings for Week 25. When compared to Week 24, Star Plus still manages to rule the roost even with a drop from 268 to 251. On the other hand, Colors, the Number 2 channel has gained in numbers, courtesy the launch of their big ticket dance reality show <em>Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa</em> with a GRP of 239 when compared to 215 last week. Zee TV takes the Number 3 position with 214 GRP while Sony takes the Number 4 slot with 201 GRP.

Tring… tring… tring…Everyone please pay attention as here’s info on the TRPs of week 20 (16-22 May). Lot was said and written about the number tussle between <em>Mahadev</em> and <em>Saubhagyavati Bhava</em> on Life OK. But this week, <em>Mahadev</em>, with 2.3 TVR, has emerged as the number one show on the channel (clap clap). Amongst channels, Star Plus maintained its numero uno position with 262 points, followed by Zee TV (213). In an interesting twist, Colors (212.8) has muscled ahead of Sony Entertainment Television (210).

Today (16 May 2012) is Wednesday which means the day of TRPs. Like always, Star Plus is perched on the number one position with 276 points. Zee TV (224) maintains its second position and Sony Entertainment Television (217) has bagged the third position in the race of numbers.
