Star One
And as the Lead India campaign On Star One intensifies, Mumbai’s Ujjwal Bannerjee won the last round. The judges were Javed Akhtar, Kiran Bedi and Vikas Singh.
As the contestants gear up for the next rounds, an inside source tells us that Ujjwal is poised for a win in the next round as well. And judging him in the next round is none other than India’s top politician, Laloo Prasad Yadav.
Looks like the green horn Ujjwal is all set to take some political tips from the veteran Laloo on how to Lead India.
As the campaign gets interesting lets wait and watch who will be the true leader.

The effervescent and spontaneous Juhi 'Kumkum' Parmar has been making it to the scribes quite often these days. Be it her get-up in Star One's Antakshari or her recent painful eye injury, the lady has been quite carked. And to add to the list of her worries is trouble at paradise (read home).
Grapevine insists that Parmar had fired her housemaid for some reason best known to her. But the carefree actor did not know what she was getting into. She was in for a rude shock when the maid's boyfriend threatened her with dire consequences! Goondaraaj in the name of love kya?

Its out in the open, Star Plus' Kumkum is set to shut shop by the end of its mega 1000 episodes. BAG Films came to this conclusion when the shows TRPs not only fell but the meat was lost as well.
This long running daily had to infuse more characters to increase sensation, the latest addition being Shweta Kawatra. The show is not in its anticlimax phase with little scope for the protagonist Juhi Parmar. In fact it was rumoured that she took up Star One's Antakshari as she had prevised the possible demise of the show.

Bong beauty Moulli Ganguly, who currently features in Star One's Resham Dankh had purchased a ritzy lap top more than three months back. But operating the gizmo and surfing the internet just wasn't her cup of tea or coffee then! Nevertheless, the talented lady made up her mind and has learnt the ropes finally. She can now easily shoot emails and browse the net.
What's interesting is that her 'good friend' Mazher Syedd (Samar of Saath Phere fame) too is not into computers and the works, as he has no time for it. But he wants to be a pro at it soon.

Apara Mehta has her hands full! After Kyunki.. she signed on Saat Phere on Zee TV (though she's out of it now) and later went on to do Resham Dankh on Star One. But since Apara was keen on getting back into the Balaji fold she took on Karam Apna Apna; afterall it was Balaji which gave her all the name and fame.
But now a little birdie told us Apara's dates have gone for a toss, as she has to give more time for Karam Apna Apna. And couple this with her theater commitments, Apara also often travels abroad for her plays.
