Star One
She says she prefers watching American television. True Blood and Brothers and Sisters are shows she loves watching to unwind. Yes, she does watch her shows “because I have to” but otherwise, Ekta Kapoor would rather look west.

While there have been quite a few magic shows on the small screen, India’s Magic Star stood apart. It is perhaps one of the first magic shows on Indian television for a wide spectrum of audience. Definitely the first reality show on magic, the show aimed to find out the hidden magical talent in the country. So you had people showing off stage magic, street magic, illusions etc. While the talent was great, it was Mumbai’s Tejas Malode, who took away the honours. Tejas spoke to TellyChakkar.com about his dreams and passion for magic.

Miley Jab Hum Tum is arguably one of the most popular shows on Indian television today. Naturally then, all its lead actors are a hit with the viewers. Take Abhishek Sharma for example. He was just another 19-year-old till he played Benji in the show. Today, not only is he climbing new heights of popularity with every episode, he is also put in a praise-worthy performance. Sharma had to lose a lot of weight for this show, speaks to TellyChakkar in a freewheeling interview.
