Four beauties of Indian television are celebrating their birthday today (23 August). Among them are: Asha Negi, who essays the role of Purvi in <em>Pavitra Rishta</em> on Zee TV, Priyanka Bassi who was seen in <em>Left Right Left</em> on SAB TV, the super hot model Gauahar Khan and actress Sudeepa Singh.

The sensual and vivacious actress, Sudeepa Singh was on a long vacation after her show <em> Ardhangini </em> went off air. Now she is all set to return to the small screen. “Currently I have not taken any show but just doing lots and lots of ads. The meeting with the people for the show is still on,” chirps Sudeepa.

It seems that pulling the not so popular shows off-air unceremoniously has become the flavour of the season. The latest in line is Zee’s <em> Ardhangini,</em> the love story of Kangana (Sudeepa Singh) and Priyam (Ajay Krissh). The show portrays the power of women in Indian families. <em> Ardhangini</em> is about a stunningly beautiful woman whose beauty becomes a hurdle in her love life. The show was launched in September with much fan-fare. It’s been just five months and the show is now slated to be pulled-off.
