Gone are the days when television producers were loathe to spending much other than on stars. Today television has the financial muscles and can no longer be considered as the poor cousin of cinema. The stakes are too high and thus TV producers are leaving no stone unturned in putting up their best show. So, if it means constructing a society then so be it.
