Amole Gupte replaces Nandita Das as CFSI chairperson

Amole Gupte has been chosen as the chairperson of the Children's Film Society of India (CFSI), according to the I & B Ministry. He replaces Nandita Das. Having met the I&B minister Manish Tiwary and accepted the offer earlier, Gupte received the official letter just yesterday. With an experience in children's film (including <em>Taare Zameen Par</em> and his own directorial <em>Stanley Ka Dabba</em>), Gupte sees the new responsibility as an extension of his work.

Aamir Khan mulls directing film after five years

Five years after he helmed his highly acclaimed film Taare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan is mulling with the idea to don the director’s hat once more. Averred Aamir, "I have a story that I have chosen and hope to direct. But not before I complete my two films Peekay and Dhoom 3 plus the second season of Satyamev Jayate. Though the script is ready (written by someone else) I have my earlier commitments to fulfill.
