12 February is a very happy day for me. It’s the day I was officially born in 2006. I was conceived much, much earlier in 1999, when Indiantelevision.com contributing Editor Satya Wanvari did a few interviews with the likes of Archana Puran Singh, Ajai Sinha, Vinta Nanda and the lovely Shefali Chayya. Then our General Manager Harish Patil (one of the key members of the founding Indiantelevision.com team) took a stab at giving me birth by writing about a few shows, along with another rookie correspondent Harsha Khot.

We received tremendous response from the fraternity and till date more than 100 guest editors (including actors, producers, directors, et al) have experienced what it’s like to don the mantle of a journalist. They came, they wrote and they conquered.

Gossips are a part and parcel of the media industry and spice is a quintessential ingredient when it comes to entertainment news. We, at Tellychakkar.com, regularly feed our readers (both from the fraternity and TV fans) with masaledar and chatpata info that add color and vibrancy to the otherwise mundane existence. Here’s adding another feather to our cap.Tellychakkar.com few days back launched a section on the website called Behind the Lens with the purpose of bringing into the light those creative minds who stay curtained but shoulder the responsibility of making TV shows. Yes, we are talking about the technicians, creatives, producers, writers, make up men et al from the entertainment industry who stay behind the lends, but with their hard work and talent, bring smiles on the lips of millions of show lovers all across the globe.

Every single day when the scribes at Tellychakkar.com reach office, all they do is to chase news and information from the TV industry like crazy. We try and cover the industry from different perspectives and cater to the different wishes of TV buffs. Our stories are read all across the globe and fans just can’t stop loving our dope (they keep demanding for more).

Tellychakkar.com has further broadened its horizons. What are we talking about? Well we have launched a section called Behind the Lens. With this segment we intend to profile and get up, close and personal with the unsung heroes of the entertainment industry.
