Yesterday was a great day to start our week long celebrations. Ya, you obviously know who joined in Tellychakkar.com’s seventh anniversary week. And continuing with the tradition, we have more TV stars coming down to meet the team. Tellychakkar.com is celebrating its seven years of inception on 12 February 2012. So, we have decided to celebrate this auspicious moment with the stars, producers, directors of the TV industry. Starting from today, many celebs will come down to Tellychakkar.com to commemorate our seventh anniversary. And behold your breath as we have some names celebrating the occasion with us, today: Producer Asit Modi, Yashashree Masurkar, Rithwik Dhanjani, and the love birds Vivian Dsena-Vahbbiz Dorabjee. (We don’t want to blow our own trumpet, but isn’t this a great lineup.)

TV lovers have voted and how. Tellychakkar.com conducted a poll on which TV hottie is the most desirable woman in 2011. We received a tremendous response and votes kept on pouring from all quarters of the world. Well, we appreciate your enthusiasm and support for the TV industry. Now, here’s the result. Sexy and svelte Drashti Dhami won the race hands down by receiving maximum number of votes, more than three times the No 2, and five times the No 3. Congrats lady, you are definitely one killing machine. You stab men.

Viewers of Colors are in for a delight tomorrow (16 October) noon (1 pm) and evening (7 pm). That's when Tellychakkar.com’s Fourth <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/slideshow/new-talent-awards-2011-red-carpet>New Talent Awards</a> gala is set to be telecast on the No 2 Hindi entertainment channel.

On the occasion of TellyChakkar’s 5th anniversary, India's first dedicated portal dedicated to news about TV programmes and stars, a range of activities have been drawn up to celebrate the momentous ocassion. Starting 12 February, and coupled with Valentine Day celebrations, TellyChakkar will be offering a romantic gift for all its readers.

After enjoying the ratings ride with Zee TV's<em> Saat Phere,</em> Sunjoy Wadhwa (Sphere Origin) is all busy readying his brand new show for Star One. And interestingly, the show has also been tentatively titled on the same lines -<em> Saptapadi (seven vows of Hindu marriage). The channel has not yet zeroed down on a telecast date. Arjun Punjj will play the lead on the show

"Yeh jo public hai, yeh sab jaanti hai!,” said Saptak without knowing what fate had in store for him. When Rajeev/Sanchali get the highest votes from viewers this week on <em>Ek Main Aur Ek Tu</em>, Saptak appealed to viewers to vote in such a manner that the participants feel encouraged to sing. And, it is Saptak from Kolkatta and his Assamese singing partner Joyeeta who have been voted out by the public this week. Though their performances were improving each week, their rankings were slipping.
