On the second day, Thalapathy Vijay starrer Varisu and Ajith Kumar starrer Thunivu dropped drastically. The films need a miraculous jump at the box office over the weekend or they will fail to make a mark at the box office. 

Thalapathy Vijay starrer Varisu and Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu clashed at the box office. Well, both the movies as expected took a bumper opening at the box office. But, Varisu collected a bit more than Thunivu.
