Off late Akshay Kumar has been going up the popularity ladder with his releases like <em>Housefull 2, Rowdy Rathore, Oh My God</em> and <em>Special 26</em> doing good business. And like always when an actor gives a string of hits, producers rub shoulders to sign him for their upcoming projects. A recent case is that of Ramesh Taurani who has signed Akshay Kumar for two of his upcoming films.

Tips Industries has announced that its next comic caper Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story, starring Vivek Oberoi and Neha Sharma will release in the Valentine week on 15 February (2013). Confirming the same, said producer Kumar Taurani, “We are happy to announce our next venture Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story, which will be a valentine week release. The shoots have been on schedule and we are very excited with the way things are shaping up. We can't wait for the film to hit theatres.”

To cash on the box-office success of South remakes in Bollywood, Tips Industries has purchased the rights of three hit Telugu films namely <em>Arya, Souryam</em> and <em>Don Seenu</em>. Confirming the same Ramesh Taurani said, “We have bought the rights of three films, <em>Souryam</em> (2008), <em>Don Seenu</em> (2010) and <em>Arya</em> (2004).”
