<em>Saathi Re</em> is all set to introduce a new set of family for Suman (the main protagonist) who will marry Amir Dalvi (Rajiv) in the Star One show. The new Raval family will include the likes of Vandana Pathak (plays mother), Deepak Qazir (father), Prithvi Zutsi, Sadiya Siddique, Tuhina (sister in law), Jyotsna Karyekar(grandmother) and Harsh Vashisht in the happy family. So we asked Vandana Pathak what made her take up the role of a mother in the show.

<em> Thode Khushi Thode Gum</em> has had a mysterious Sharda from its initial episodes who has finally been revealed. Vandana Pathak enters the show as Sharda in the special hundredth episode of the show. She has earlier worked with Shobhana Desai Productions in her Sony show<em> Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka.</em>
