We caught the promo of Sab’s new show Gili Gili Gappa, a story about a sweet family.

In Pratigya, Krishna (Arhaan Behll) is facing a tough time thawing the ice with Pratigya (Pooja Gor) and his inability to consummate their marriage. But he will soon bump into a very happily married man played by Varun Badola. The latter will meet him at the same resort where the couple is staying during their honeymoon and will enlighten him by giving him some useful tips.

Sony Sab is all set to launch a spate of shows post IPL to strengthen its viewership. The latest one to be approved by the channel is Walkwaters’ next which will star <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/stork-has-visited-rajeshwari-and-varun-badola>Varun Badola</a> , <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/kiku-s-hand-sri-adi-manav-delay>Kiku Sharda</a> and Abhishek Sharma. Apparently, <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/interviews/i-still-get-offered-quality-work-and-s-encouraging-sakshi-tanwar>Sakshi Tanwar</a> will also be seen in a cameo.

Doesn’t matter if Aakash Khurana aka Vipul Joshi’s track is going to end on <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/satish-kaushik-overdrive-boards-ladies-special>Ladies Special</a>, audiences will get to see another fine actor stepping into the show. Well, the person in question is none other than seasoned pro Varun Badola.

With television not offering him much satisfaction, Varun Badola has set his sights on films. Last seen in <em> Main Meri Patni Aur Woh</em>, Varun is set to resume his Bollywood career with a murder mystery.

He’s passionate about cricket, perhaps even more than acting. Varun Badola will now get to enact his passion though not completely. The actor is all set to play a role of a cricket coach in SAB TV’s <em> Jersey No.10</em>. Speaking on his character, Varun says, “I play Abhay Singh Rana. He has been appointed as the head coach of the Victoria cricket academy. He was a former Indian player who went into oblivion once his career ended.” But coaching doesn’t allow him to play on the screen. “Well, the playing takes place between the shots,” says Varun before signing off.

2008 is proving to be the season of comebacks. Smriti Irani and Achint Kaur have returned to <em> Kyunki,</em> Rucha Gujarati is back in <em> Bhabhi.</em> Following in their footsteps are actors Varun Badola and Arzoo Govitrikar who have returned to Sahara One’s <em> Ghar Ek Sapna.</em> Varun says “I share a great rapport with the producers (Ajay and Sangeeta Sinha) thus I couldn’t refuse them. The NRI Gautam had returned to America post his marriage to Vanshikha. My character was to eventually turn from positive to negative and that’s how you will see Gautam now.”

We all know that actor Varun Badola has turned director with <em> Ek Chabhi Hai Pados Main </em> (on and off). But it seems that the actor is not content and wishes to add yet another feather to his cap. The actor turned director is now writing lyrics for a few films. Varun informs, “I am writing lyrics for three yet untitled films. I am doing it to satisfy my creative hunger and also for my friends who are making these movies. I have completed writing the lyrics of the first movie and two songs of the second movie. I still have to start writing for the third movie.”
