Fresh from the success of Raaz 3 and 1920 Evil Returns, producer- director Vikram Bhatt is already planning for his next thrilling installment of the <em>1920</em> franchise under the ASA Production banner. The producer has signed Prachi Desai for the coming installment of the horror film that marks the directorial debut of Tinu Suresh Desai. On his decision to cast Prachi, Bhatt said, “The girl in the film belongs to a royal family and Prachi is someone who looks extremely classy and dignified. She has that allure of royalty.”

The film is about two people who make a spoof of a bad film, hoping their film will be a disaster and they lose money. But things turn out otherwise. We’re told that the script of the film has been written by Bhatt himself and it is on the lines of <em>Awara Paagal Deewana</em>.

Having begun his Bollywood journey as a child artiste, Kunal Khemu has grown up doing all kinds of roles, albeit those with action. Now, the star has been signed by T-Series to star in an action-oriented film to be directed by Vikram Bhatt.

Thought Raaz 3 is ready for release next week, but director Vikram Bhatt is still working on the film’s post-production. Though the film was censored earlier this week and passed without cuts for adult viewing, the director came to know that there’s still work to be done on the film. This, after a technical screening of the film with the cast and crew recently.

Vikram Bhatt, whose next film Raaz 3D deals with a successful actress Maithli (Bipasha Basu) who loses her position and her love Aditya (Emraan Hashmi) to an upcoming starlet Sanjana (Esha Gupta) says, “He was better equipped to understand the psyche of Bipasha’s character, since he had been in a similar 5-year relationship.”
