Parakh Madan (remember Monica Mogre?) is the latest one to join the growing list of married heroines in the television industry. However, she does not want to continue acting since she has moved to Delhi after marriage.

After winning the hearts of the viewers and the mentors in Dance India Dance season 1, Khushboo Purohit now faces the camera in the newly launched <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/ragini-play-lead-sasural-genda-phool-pooja-kanwal-too-joins>Sasural Genda Phool</a></em>. <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/y2k9/apr/23apr/highlight_did.php>Khushboo</a> plays Sanjana, Suhana's (Ragini Khanna) younger sister.

In one of the recent Dance India Dance episodes, Remo D'Souza had admonished contestant Dharmesh Sir for "doing nothing new and repeating his style." While Dharmesh's mentor Geeta Kapur didn't take too kindly to that comment, looks like the contestant who is a self confessed <em>chela</em> of Remo (had called him his "<em>bhagwan</em>") is determined to impress him. So we hear in this weekend's episode, Dharmesh has broken tubelights on his head for a dance performance. He is possibly desperate to hear a "wow" from D'Souza.

Competition ke liye kuch bhi karega seems to be the mantra of the Dance India Dance contestants. Apparently Punit Pathak, one of the 12 finalists of the show didn't bathe for the entire week. No, he wasn't conserving water for environment reasons; it's just that he had to bring alive a wild, ferocious cannibalistic ape trapped in a cage in his latest act for an upcoming episode and in a bid to make it as real as possible, Punit is said to have gone un-shaven and without a bath for over a week.

Darshan Pandya, better known as Aditya or Abhishek of Aap Ki Antara, is a sad man these days. His first show on television Aap Ki Antara is going off air after February 18. In fact, not just Darshan, a lot of viewers and actors were also surprised at the sudden turn of events for the serial which was so well accepted by everyone. "I have no clue why this has happened. You will not believe the notice we got. The channel asked us to wrap up the show within 2-3 episodes. Is this a joke? How can someone do this to such a successful and well received serial?" asks a furious Darshan.

Season 2 of Dance India Dance starts this week and Terence Lewis, ups his unique style quotient a little more. So you will still see him wearing bright shoes (red, yellow, pink), stunning hats (he was wearing a black and white checked <em>topi</em> at the press meet), huge watches (with a red or a yellow dial) and untied ties. Yes, you read that right, with most men anyways not knowing how to knot a tie, Terence’s freestyle tie is bound to find takers. He laughs, “So what if most men don’t know to tie a knot, they have their women in true filmi style tying it for them.”
