MUMBAI: In an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar, actor Kumud Mishra spoke in detail about the challenges he faced while playing his character in the web series Dr. Arora and on being critical of his work.

No doubt Kumud Mishra is one of the most loved and followed actors we have seen in the acting space. Over time with his strong acting performances the actor created a strong mark not only at the box office but also in the hearts and minds of the fans. Kumud Mishra is currently getting some beautiful responses for his recently released Sony LIV web series titled Dr. Arora.

Kumud Mishra revealed he is playing a sexologist in the show so performing this character with full purity was a big challenge for him. He had visited a few doctors not to take their feedback but just to see their responses and how they look at their patients.

Kumud Mishra reveals that he does not have any particular favourite scene, he is really excited to share the show with the fans to know their favourite scenes. As an actor, he has delivered his best and it is now their turn to select the favourite because different people will have different takes on different scenes.

Sandeepa Dhar said this character is completely different from what she is in real life. She adds that Imtiaz Ali told her she cannot be Sandeepa Dhar when she is in front of the camera. Also, this project is coming from one of the finest filmmakers Imtiaz Ali so there was no reason to say no to this project.

He said the trailer is the first level of any project and he is very happy that the audience has loved the trailer. He is happy that the first level is cleared, he is now looking forward to seeing how the fans will accept the web series. The trailer has got some amazing responses and the fans are curious to know more about the web series.

Kumud Mishra on saying yes to this web series

Kumud Mishra said that there were two reasons. First, he has already collaborated with Imtiaz Ali and was looking forward to working with him again so he grabbed this opportunity. Second, when he read the script he completed reading the entire script in one go because of the strong and engaging writing, he just loved the entire script and he was very excited to do this web series and share it with the fans.

Kumud Mishra says that this web series is a small attempt from the side of the makers to tackle the Taboo subject of sex-related problems and how people are dealing with it. Similar is the story behind Ranvir Shorey’s character Kalpesh Patel in the upcoming series Metro Park Season 2 on Eros Now. Ranvir has shown his versatile side by delivering power-packed performances in multiple projects. However, the part of Kalpesh Patel is a special one for him due to various reasons.

Apparently, Ranvir also had a friend with the same name – Kalpesh Patel! Though the personas are different, this one is a fascinating coincidence. Furthermore, Ranvir shares, “Enacting the part of Kalpesh in Metro Park has been a wonderful experience. All of us have laughed our hearts out during shooting the entire season! Playing the part of a NRI was not a difficult task as my brother resides in New Jersey and is well aware of how NRIs behave and their mannerisms. Also, the comical element makes it stand out from all the other characters I have played before. Not to forget, I am a Punjabi who is acting like a Gujarati!”.
