Veteran actor <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/akshay-anand-enter-arjun> Akshay Anand</a>, who is currently seen in Channel V’s <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/akshay-anand-channel-v-s-suvreen-guggal> <em>Suvreen Guggal – Topper of The Year</a></em> (4 Lions Films and Fable Tree Pictures) celebrated his birthday on 30 January 2013.

4 Lions Films’ <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sana-khan-be-replaced-arjun>Arjun</a> on Star Plus is being appreciated by the critics and masses alike for its chic action sequences and poignant plots. And the show is all set to see another entry to intensify the scheme of things.

Sphere Origin’s Humsafar on Sony Entertainment Television is busy finalizing its major cast. It has already been reported that Himmanshoo Malhotra will play one of the male leads. We now hear that seasoned actors Raju Kher and Akshay Anand have been roped in to play pivotal roles. The story is about two sisters who get married to two brothers. The concept will be of love marriage v/s arranged marriage.

Channel V is all set to entertain viewers with their latest offering, Suvreen Guggal...topper of the year. The lead character of Suvreen is being played by Smriti Kalra, who was seen in Sunshine Productions’ Karol Bagh (ZEE TV). The promos are already out and the show will hit the screens on 19 March 2012. It will be aired at 6.30pm and 8pm (repeat telecast). Now, veteran actor Akshay Anand will also be seen in the serial.

SAB TV and producer Benaifer Kohli after making a very popular FIR, which turned Kavita Kaushik into the delightful Chandramukhi Chautala, are now making another comedy. The still untitled show stars Shruti Ulfat, Akshay Anand, veterans Rita Bhaduri and Bharti Achrekar and child star Sparsh (Ichcha of Uttaran).
