Ashima Bhalla, known for her shows like Meri Awaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni on Star Plus, is celebrating her birthday today (16 August). The actress, who also did <em>Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena</em>, has been doing lot of ad films too.

Ashima Bhalla who rose to fame with <em> Meri Aawaaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni </em> is planning a break. It’s just been one and a half year since Ashima made her television debut. Now it’s heard that the show will be pulled off air soon. Confirming the news Ashima says, “Yes, it’s true that <em> Meri Aawaaz</em> is going off air but I don’t know when. It’s a channel decision.”
